Please ready my reply to this thief who tried to sell a fake PR9 domain for 500$. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2412438#post17377485 Ofcourse this is a stupid thief and not very sophisticated, the problem is that there are some professional criminals in this forum that its nearly impossible to detect the fact they faked their PR (they usually do it with lower PRs not to get attraction, they hides well the former redirection, they using domains with many crappy backlinks which not really impacted the PR). Lets kill this ugly phenomenon !! There too many damned criminals in this forum that have been stolen (and keep steeling) so much money from naive buyers edit: There is no certainly tool for checking former redirection on the domain ! In some rare cases Archive.org and/or Screenshots.com did have archives that point the domain used to have a redirection. Notice that even if the info:domain.com check passed it doesn't mean the domain don't have a former redirection which gave its PR. Checking the backlinks of the domain is a great way to check if the PR is natural and valid, always remember this stone rule: PR(x) domain must have at least one quality, natural, authentic PR(x+1) backlinks and in some rare cases a PR(x) will be enough but it has to be really powerful one.
I agree. i'm tiring in checking all those website anymore. After posting a thread ask for link, you will found at least 30% or more is sending you fake PR. Not sure whether we can report them
