Office is not place to find friends. But if you are lucky, you can find true friend in the office. But in my case, i can not find a true friend in my office. But maybe you can.

I had some horrible co-workers at my last "real" job! Too many women working all in one room... It was bad. I took every chance I could to come up with an excuse to go and hang out with the cool guys in the IT office!! ;)

It's so nice to work from home now and not have a boss or co-workers... :D

you don't have to be friends of everybody, you just need to be nice and discreet and always remember you were there to work not to have friends..

I say this. Keep your friends close. But your enimies even closer ! Does that ring a bell. I've learned in my lifetime that when it's all done and said that you are lucky if you can count your true friends on 1 hand. Everyones your friend till the rents due!

I agree. When I started with this company it was me and this other hot young chick, I totally was getting on her goodside. We only hired temps as secretaries so they changed every week, which gave us a good chance to find a nice looking one. Then we brought in new dudes, fired the young chick, and hired old broads. BOO!

It's not true all the time, however the ratio of it being true is quite high.

But, I myself have a colleage, which I consider friend more than the colleage (he is also my senior) :)

Collegues are competitor, whatever you say about your boss to your collegues, there is 90% chance of getting reported in some or other for,m to your boss.
