It depends on your relationship with your co-workers. In my case we tend to co-exist more than cooperate
At work, there is a lots of professional jealousy therefore most of the times you can't win a true friend there.
Most of the times, people would pretend to be really friendly but in reality they would be jealous. Infact if you get a promotion and your colleague doesn't, he will surely feel jealous against you.
Depends on the office and the work you are doing i guess. A mate of mine works for Symantec and does an odd job for Youtube and its ever so fun. Especially at Youtube everyone seems to get on with each other and the atmosphere is quite relaxed.
Friendship at work depends, as some people are bad and soem are good. Just have to figure out which are which.
"Actually girls are not that hot." That's either one hell of a bold statement, or you've left out a word
I don't work off commission or anything so my co-workers and I really have nothing to compete for. We all get paid the same, most of us are at about the max as far as advancement opportunity since we've all been here for quite a while. I think that helps the whole atmosphere, but when you don't have much to work for people tend to slack off if it isn't their head on the line to get the projects completed.
It depends. Not all of them are your friends, but at best can be termed as acquaintances. The guys who get pally with you for a common cause can be called allies......
