Another thing, A q&a portal can easily be used to bring in huge traffic. You can research the keyword for those niche and create questions including those keywords. Since questions are user generated, keywords don't seems unusual. Its also easier to create questions in comparison to the usual posts.

I have powered it with wordpress so that you don't need be web designer/developer to run it. The user interface is also super easy to use. User not logged in will be sent to register page when he clicks on Ask new question with an option to login if he is already registered. Whereas logged in user will directly be sent to ask question page. Users can also put links to their facebook, twitter account or blogs (which will motivate them to be active) and also put their pic (or avatar) from their themed profile page itself without messing with gravatar and all. Use the features for sometime to get a good idea of how easy everything is.
