    i dont what i was thinking when i took it. i dont want to keep it anymore. how can i sell it off safely? am i infringing any trademark laws? please guide me:(

    You are definitely close to infringing trademarks. It will be a hard sell. It just depends on how aggressive MS is on their trademark crackdowns.

    I had a friend that owned the domain: digggames.com. Digg came after him with a lawsuit.

    You have a number of options:

    1) Try to sell it, but with a notice that it *could* violate a trademark (this will affect the price you will get for it, but it would get it off of your hands)
    2) Just keep it and then disable it if you are ever contacted by MS lawyers
    3) Park the domain - most web hosting providers will give you this option
    4) Post a "no longer in service" message on the site

    I don't think you would get into trouble just owning the domain and not doing anything with it. My friend that infringed Digg's trademark just parked the Domain and they were ok with that.

    These forums, Sitepoint.com, ebay.com just to name a few. You haven't been accused of trademark infringement, so it shouldn't be against the terms of service, but it would still be ethical to state when selling that there *could* be infringement issues in the future.
