Themes with grid images?

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to find a theme to work off this is more of an image grid. Like instead of the homepage listing posts, each post is simply an image, with maybe some additional details if you hover over it. Then clicking goes to the actual post. Anybody know of anything like this? I haven't been able to find much searching through Google.

 

I know one site a friend showed me along time ago.. But I don't remember it sorry.. Why don't you just code it from scratch? That makes it unique and will make it work exactly in the way you want it. Do you work with wordpress?

 

Yeah I do I think I could setup a template like that easily Just not looking forward to the javascript to overlay the images.

 

That's the easy part? You can just use some animations with opacity and voila hahah.. No but javascript is the best interactive web language ever but is sadly often used in the wrong way, without thinking about server validation.. In Sweden, there have been 3 big competitions online. Coded in javascript.. I ended up winning all prices from 2 of those 3 competitions, the 3rd one was really well made without a single security flaw. But the other 2 - Uääq. Designers who coded a game - that wasn't a good idea hahah Try coding the javascript, if you get stuck just post your problem here

 

Haha I'm not the best with Javascript But I'll give it a try.

When you hover over image it gives text.. may be you can edit bit of code to suit your needs...
