These guys are mostly frausdters, unless they can supply evidence - portfolio's, other projects, actual COMPANY Site...

Wanted to make a small comment here, I was floating around looking for reviews on cloneforest and found this thread. Not sure why people are giving this script some bad reviews, I took the gamble anyway. I floated around forever looking for a script like cloneforest and could not find anything that was like it. The script is actually identical to themeforest user front end. I have no idea what their backend is like at envato, probably looks different but would use the same functions, I would imagine.

Anyway, I did purchase cloneforest's script and was actually pleased with it, I did have my reservations about it. But these did go away after I floated around. I have the script on a sub directory, (I read here that I wouldn't be able to do that, so thats the first thing I tried), right now and will post a link once I have things looking the way I want and my site fully operating. Code isn't encrypted, so I am not sure where these people are getting their info from but I would recommend the script.

I fixed ALL problems and errors.
My cloneforest clone are encoded, but only 3 files, and I can customize script - no problems.
I remove curl options, who check domain with licences on cloneforest.com

This is a good and solid script. It's running great! Purchased 2 of them and they are running fine on my VPS server.

So, since you have the script, then maybe you can answer a few questions:
- Can it be themed YES IT CAN If so, what's the theme engine? SMARTY
- Is the PHP obfuscated? NO
Better asked: Can you tweak/edit the source code? YES
- Can you share your web site URL? why

spend the money buy the full license and you can edit and customize it all you want

 

Indeed and if you have any problems, go to the website and contact me, also i would advise against buying anything from stencil dog or jack, we had jacks site shutdown and stencil has the very old 1.04 version,

We have just released 1.11 along with 2 new payment modules (alertpay and moneybookers) these are addons but give you more choice, also we have released a documents and ebooks script and have 3 others on the way, stock image script should be out this week.

Like i said, any issues, join me on the forum and i will gladly try to help, i assure you we are a reputable company.

Also, you should know, there are some really good ideas in the pipeline for future updates of this script, i cant give any clues yet but if you have a full license with us then further down the line you will see an even better all around product, its already excellent now. (if i do say so myself)

The themeclone script is really one of the most superb marketplace scripts i've seen.

The script is solid and is always being patched/updated. The support team is responsive and very friendly. The security is strong and there is no indication of any security flaws thus far.
