    Hello guys !!

I have been reading this forum for some time and i decided to join you and ask some questions i am a bit confused at

I have already read a lot of articles regarding domain names and the use of Hyphens (-) in the actual domain.

From what i understand hyphens for Google mean word separation (.) ..and they should not intervene in the meaning of the domain names or in the rankings.. correct me if am wrong or i am missing something here.

So now am looking in to it to create a number of websites which will fall under a specific niche territory ..

    Example ..

    www.all-foods-meat.com
    www.all-foods-fish.com
    www.all-foods-vegetables.com
    www.all-foods-drinks.com

Getting all of the above domain names with out hyphens is not possible (i have checked)
so now where do i go from here.. well i guess then i use Hyphens ..

Am also very interested in good SEO value of my domains..

So will this "make or brake" a site with a dissent contend material ?

I would like to hear what you guys have to say, or any other alternatives.

I've never registered any domains with hyphens in them because I've always thought they were tedious and/or useless extra characters in the name, however after recently seeing how crazy google bots go over-indexing-tag-links-like-this-one.html it has me thinking it may not be a bad idea, it may or may not help, but I'm pretty sure it wouldn't hurt because at the end of the day it's more about the content than the domain.

All articles i have read say more or less dont chose them as a first option .. but if is necessary go for it..
but the think is that most people dont use hyphens while googling so for instance if some one would like to search for this terms " meat foods"
will i show up ? 2 out of 3 words in my domain are used in the search ..but with no hyphens .. how would this situation go?

Most of my wordpress sites have dashes in the domain name, but due to the strong SEO I never have any real problem with the ranking. The domain name becomes a bit difficult to type having the dashes and all but not that much.
