Theme change may affect ranking

I have an electronics websites selling laptops, mobiles, ipods and etc products. now i want to add one cateogry of apparel ( gents and ladies garments) realted products into it. So will it affect my ranking anymore ?
will goolge consider that I am multi products seller and then importance to my domain in electronic industry will be reduced ?

What is the harm if I do this ? if not then it means google is not considering theme of any website in ranking or pr or any purpose right ?

Add your new catagory without distrubing any title tags,meta tags and description etc.It will not effect your ranking.

It won't hurt your site so do not worry about that.

 

Adding one more category in your sell lists would not harm your rankings....

Rankings are affected only by complete change in the purpose or objective of the site.

I don't think it will effect your site..coz so many will add or delete their sub pages and modules in their sites, so compared to them it's not at all a big problem..You can proceed with your plans and strategies....

 

you just need to cut it to one part of your website and generate meta tag for it.
