    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

The worst that I've seen so far.

I just got a reply but they are kinda sneaky again.:

    Hello XXX,

Thank you for your email. We understand that you would like participate
in www. rentyourdot. com and have more traffic visiting your site. However,
we do not endorse or encourage the use of any traffic exchange programs
    for this purpose.

We recommend that you exercise caution when using traffic exchange
programs to ensure that you do not violate the AdSense Terms and
Conditions and that you do not artificially inflate your pageviews or
clicks. Please note that AdSense participants are solely responsible
for verifying that any tools or software used in conjunction with AdSense
do not violate the AdSense Terms and Conditions.

To protect your interests as well as those of our advertisers, Google
monitors clicks and impressions on Google ads to prevent any abuse of
the AdSense program. Google's proprietary technology analyzes all ad clicks
and impressions for any activity intended to artificially drive up an
    advertiser's costs or a publisher's earnings.

Clicks or impressions deemed by our monitoring system to be invalid
will appear in your reports, but because advertisers are not charged for
them, no associated revenue will be shown. Please rest assured that your
account is being properly credited for all valid clicks and impressions.

    i'll translate that for you.

"We don't like traffic exchange programs, but we won't stop you from using them. If you still elect to use, be VERY careful. if we find that the TEs that you participate encourage clicks or pageviews without real benefits to advertisers, we'll screw you over (think auto-surf sites).

    Consider yourself warned."

i'm not being sarcastic, this is really what i think they meant. :)

I did some research on this also and found this: Here

Now through research of other threads I find out this is the guy who owns the rentyourdot.com domain and he talks about being banned from Google back in september.

Now in October he talks about the program here

Now he never mentions his ban from Google. I did find alot of sites using this service, but when you visit them they are nothing more than google adsense links. While they say they add content to your site I was unable to do this on any of the sites I visited. All I did find were links to other sites that had articles. Similar to RSS, but no content on the domains from this system.

This is what it says on the main page of his website
So IMO it would be a bad idea to try this. I was tempted at first and decided I am going to do some research. I could be wrong and the program may be perfectly fine with Google, but I do not think I would be willing to take that chance and have the dreaded email come for participating in a questionable service.

I think that it is best for me at the moment to wait and see how this turns out first.

Well according to the thread he was making about $3000 per month at that time. Now they are still doing this, but unless he got his Google account back I am not sure how he is. He uses YPN on some of his own personal sites so that is one way he is monetizing, but how is he doing the so called 50/50 split without a Google Adsense account.

so he came up with the program after he was banned?

as i said, be careful when using such programs. make sure you know what the programs does exactly and if you feel suspicious, the best is not to participate. :)

Actually looks like he was. Which of course to me just does not give me much confidence in him or his product.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to comment specifically if this kind of

Good choice. I think we are going to see them jumping all over this soon. They are trying to discourage you without coming out and saying it. This way they do not have to make a public decision yet.

After having a read over the info & research on this guy here I was curious and checked a few things out.

There's one big problem, even if the concept isn't breaking the rules.

If you use this on YOURDOMAIN.COM the page code has an iframe that goes back to RENTYOURDOT.COM which in turn has the adsense code which has google's iframe.

It would seem a no-no to have your ad in a seperate frame from the content, especially if it's specifically for the ad.
