I'm writing an essay about The Current World Economic Crisis, and decided to start this thread As The Main & The Only Discussion thread about it. We will discuss : 1- Causes. 2- Effects. 3- Countries that are Affected (Why?). 4- Countries that will survive (Why?). and The Main Question I wanna know (Would it affect the U.S. Elections)
It will have an impact on the elections for numerous reasons. - The US is already in a recession - The citizens (babyboomers mainly) will more then likely pick a canidate who they believe will recover their retirement 401k's and etc... - I think party loyality will not be such a huge issue in turning over votes in this election due to their economic problems - The US has known about the looming recession for sometime now, warnings back to 2004...Therefore, educated guesses would be on a proactive approach opposed to a reactive approach to fix the economy. There are just too many factors to consider. There are a few countries which will survive easily, but will feel the effects of the spill over, but not as bad as the US. Canada and Austrialia are in good positions to ride this storm out... Food for thought: Research the 'Top noble CEO myth' as it may give some guidiance on how people lay their trust into these men of "good morale standing" like Conrad Black...JOKES haha...
I really don't think a lot of the business will be negatively effected beyond what they already have, the main one that will be is the credit market, the short term loans that come out of midair. That is where the problem was & the effects are felt now.
