well guys currently have netalien.biz a blog on blogger have a 1500 k daily traffic and decent alexa rank not to mention pr2 now if i shift to wordpress which would cost me a 20 bucks a year do you people think I would be able to make any money with the traffic I get through advertisement from chitika can i increase the pr or get an increase in traffic after the shift any one have any ideas plz help and do suggest me weather cloud hosting would be better option or share hosting you know my traffic load now which host do you people suggest
What gets you views isn't which blog software you're using but the content of the blog and, to a lesser extent, the look of the site. The best software with the worst articles won't do nearly as well as terrible software with articles that everyone wants to read.
rukabat I wanna be sure which side of the story you are positive or negative. are you critisizing the site content or you are simply saying that wordpress can bring better result please clearify
I'm criticizing the idea that the blog software you use has much to do with the number of visitors you get. Content is the most important thing in getting people to come to the site. A bad-looking site - say dark gray text on a black background, or using 25 different colors - will drive people away, but a great looking site with content that no one cares about won't get you a lot of visitors.
well if you say that wordpress has potential to bring more people to your site or it is the seo that brings in the traffic. As for looks there is not much option for putting up a good theme and get all the bandwidth hogged,its like giving away all the money on hosting without earning anything from the traffic. well I am not that bad at blogging so One thing I can say that if you have something good to give people would eventually find it. I have seen site not using wordpress rank for a keyword while wordpress site lags somewhere behind. Need too much customization and understanding of a coder to design or hire a designer to do it for you that is how I feel that is what kept me away. NOw proveme wrong
