K guys check this out.. I had made like 12 sales of a product and it showed perectly in the transactions and analytics.. the last sale made a week ago.. now suddenly the total sales in the analytics is reported as 11 but 0 refunds/cgks AND the transaction page still shows all the sales but no refunds.. where did one sale go??
I remember when I used to freak out about clickbank stats....... Then I stopped worrying about it and just kept doing my thing. makes a world of difference. In the time that you are trying to investigate a 9.95 transaction, you could have set up a blog promoting another product, backlinks, articles, PPC.
In hte big scheme of things, you're right. But that's also like saying, hey someone just ripped me off. But eh.. I'm not gonna worry about it I'll just work harder... In criminal circles you'd be what's referred to as an "easy mark". By the way, can I borrow your wallet for a sec?
nope ive checked and couble checked again nd again.. this sale just went poof!! NO refund.. only the trans page shows it.. ive contacted cb abt it..any of u noticed smthin similar?
Say his stats weren't adding up, even if he had hard proof, what would he do? Would this compaint to clickbank get his "lost" sale back? Or maybe him discovering this error would fix all of the clickbank reporting errors?
i mailed cb 36 hrs ago and havent yet received anything from them.. also my stats are going backward.. i had 66 order form imps fr a product and now it says 50
I might be wrong here, but say for examples your anayltics are showing for maybe the last 7 days and you had them sales 9 or 8 days ago so there now showing up on that certain ''show results from the last 7 days'' or do you mean you had a sale and CB have just taken that sale away and not even paid you for it?
I see 9 sales from you for my product with no refunds or chargebacks. Dont you worry about analytics. It is error prone and not real time. I have had days when it shows up in transactions but not in analytics nor in home page. If you had in the transactions, it means you have a receipt number which can be used to track the sale. Now stop worrying and lets make more sales ...
Luke is right. Analytics, by default, only display the last week or so... Even so, the analytics are known to be buggy, and technically, don't really matter. As long as it shows under transactions, you get paid! Jim
As long as they are in your transactions, your fine. Analytics, has, and seemingly always will "suck". Ultimately though, the analytics make no difference as far as being paid is concerned! Jim
^^ thanks for that.. yup trans page is fine.. got a mail frm cb sayin that theyre looking into the analytics goof up...
