The background color should be something other than white and also make the headlines and titles stand out more.

 

Thanks for the Suggestion bobby the concept here is too keep it simple so people dont have to look hard to look at it so its easy to read with light background

I think the site would look better with a different color scheme, I don't like the color scheme.

What is the difference between yours and the other zillion of webmaster forums out there? I think you need to push on that a bit more.

 

i agree with that.

there are too many colors, and they are all shiny.
If this'd be a site for children it would be ok.

I'd prefer simpler and cleaner designs.

I don't mind the design too much as a design, but personally I would not use these forums unless I was a girl reading a girly webmaster forum. My daughter would like it.

If that is what you are shooting for, cool. If that was not your intent, you just lost a guy reader/poster.

 

Yes, I agree.
It looks to "girly" and funny 2.0 webish for youngsters.
I don't think that such a design works for a "Webmaster" forum.
Take a look at the DP forum design ;-)
