"The web Directories i see do not seem to use contextual advertising"

    Hi guys

Most of the directories i see seem to focus on Affiliate adverts , or proprietry banner advertising, very little by way of contextual advertising,

Is there a particular reason why ?

Contextual ads generally won't make much bank.

Exactly and what do they look like

We prefer Directories that are slick clean and uncluttered, with a professional skin

Exactly! It would by hypocritical to delete MFA sites and yet have adsense plastered prominently all over your directory.

That is getting down to the business end of professionally run sites, you are so right you must set 'front end standards' if you want to differentiate on what is going to be indexed on your Directory

Quality comments from a Top Directory Owner Thanks
