I am new to the affiliate marketing industry and finding it really hard to get started. I,m only using article marketing but this is being a nightmare as Ezine articles have suspended my account and then reactivated it and now there's more problems that they won't even tell me so I've sent an email as they told me I'd need to contat them for further info. I,ve joined squidoo and can't get the traffic and hubpages which is getting hits but after a week or so they too are saying there is problems with the articles being overly promotional os substandard content. So it's becoming clear I'm a rubbish writer!
I have been reading up on the Wealthy Affiliate program and had a quick browse over there home page.
Has anyone dealt with them or know if there worth paying the $39 monthly fee.

    Hey man,

As a member since January 2009 I can safely say that WA is definitely worth it, however you get what you put into it ie. Effort must applied to their techniques that have been proved to rock.
Creating an income online isn't hard it's just following an action plan, staying focused and reaping the rewards.

If you want to talk further drop me an

However I do suggest to anyone that is interested in Wealthy Affiliate to first try their tutorials for free which are located in my signature (just click the WealthyAffiliate.Com and you'll be able to get them)

BTW, I have quite a few threads here at DP, which I recommend you look up (most in the general marketing section) as I give away A LOT of stuff that I learn at Wealthy Affiliate.

But yeah, all in all it ain't a scam.

    Hi,

Wealthy Affiliate is a fantastic resource however, for me, I never truly started achieving some form of success until I cancelled my membership!

Unfortunately I wasn't well enough equipped, at the time, to deal with all the information that was suddenly thrust upon me...and that will only ever lead to one thing - information overload and a complete lack of action.

If you go into WA with a plan of what you would like to achieve and exactly what you would like to learn, you stand a far better chance of becoming successful in this industry. I am very thankful for what WA taught me and how much brilliant information, content and even software it allowed me to use, but it lead to me to be constantly "researching" rather than doing any practical "work".

So, yes it is definitely worth the money, but remember to take ACTION from what you learn.

    James

Ezine Articles sucks. You're just starting out and you already ran into problems with them, imagine how much more frustrating it will get the more you use them.

I know a lot of people say it's the best article directory and that's what you should focus on, and yes they WOULD be the best if they weren't so damn strict and had poor customer support, but you need to ask yourself if they are even worth dealing with.

I get my articles declined there all the time and they don't even give me a reason as to why. Then it takes them a week to respond to my support request and it's just a generic answer that looks like they copy and pasted it.

Try using ArticlesBase.com to submit your articles to. They are way more lenient on what they accept, they only take about a day to approve them, and after like 20 approvals your account will be set to auto-approve so there's no wait time at all. AB also ranks just as well as EZA does in the search engines.

I'd like to thank all who have given advice on this thread about the Wealthy affiliate program as well as advice to switch from EZA to article base. Don't mean to come across cheeky when i say this but it's reassuring that people who are in this business and have experience are having problems with EZA as well so it tells me it isn't just my writing skills and it is EZA just being too strict.
