The way google displays my results

Basically with some of the results it appears to be displaying the meta description and just the meta description. Here's an example

http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=Free+Software+every+PC+needs&btnG=Search&meta=

(note the second search my page is second from bottom on first page).

Can i improve this by adding to the meta description? Very confused

 

Could you post what your site url is, because google sometimes changes the order of its results.

I think it's best just to let google decide what to display, you could try changing your meta description. I assume that G thinks that there isn't anything on the rest of the page which is more relevant than the meta. I am probably wrong.

 

google displays what describes or seen to your site based on the keyword you've typed in the searchbox..
