If I was to spend 1000 hours building a content site with the view of running ads on it, If I live in India my Return on Investment is going to be substatially higher than if I lived in the US. Simply put my income would have purchasing power in india would be 5 times what it is in the US. [reference] This leads me to my next point. [reference] There are 1129 Million people in India with 17% below poverty line 410 Million people combinedin US, Canada, Australia, and UK with 12% below poverty line How does someone from an english speaking country compete with a country like India in an even playing field like online marketing/content etc.. Assuming neither is purchasing advertising online, Indian online entrepreneurs can effectively spend 5 times for effort to get equal ROI. It makes it hard to compete when your competitor can add 5 times the effort you can. oh and lets not forget 1321 Million people in China Let me know what you think..
