    The thread that I started asking about the value of DMOZ editor account was deleted and I got an infraction. Can someone explain what is wrong with my post with exception of a moderator wanting to collect some favors from DMOZ gang? ;)

    Shawn; I am just wondering if the moderator who deleted this thread is a woman and Possibly the same one who sold my IP address from this forum to DMOZ?

    Why would we allow people discussing how to do things that break our rules? Lol

    If you have proof of a payment being made for information, please post it. Not sure why DMOZ would send money to people for information... Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me. Probably Google is paying your neighbors to find info about you too. :)

    It is not a conspiracy theory. It was awhile back when I was involved in DMOZ discussions and start posting from their forum. One of my accounts got disabled and it was the account that was using the same IP as this forum. It was later on through internal conversation in DMOZ that I discovered a female moderator from this forum has provided the IP address. She is also a DMOZ editor, so probably was trying to prove her loyalty to admins in DMOZ.

    I am still waiting to know which rule did I break by starting that thread and in the mean time I got an infraction for this thread. May be it will be a good idea to make the DMOZ section only for DMOZ editors and let jim "noble" and rob moderate it, so nobody by mistake post anything useful.;):D

    Has nothing to do with DMOZ. We don't allow accounts to be sold/traded on this site. This also means you can't discuss how to sell a Gmail account, AdSense account, eBay account, Digital Point account, etc, etc, etc...

    I remember when complaining about an infraction meant getting another infraction... ;) No conspiracy there. Just suck it up and stop starting inappropriate threads.

    How did I find it? Like I went looking for it? There's a little thing in VB called "New Posts"... Click on it some time if you're curious how one could find a thread on DP.

    Julian, you know for a fact when I give you rep, I sign my name to it. I have to wonder though, do they still give infractions here for complaining about Rep?

    Seriously, please stop starting worthless threads and you'll stop seeing negative rep.

    and not only selling accounts is disallowed. Even asking for and offering donation is totally disallowed.
