The value of a link exchange?

    Hello guys,

    Just wondering what your opinion of link exchanges are, and what they are worth. It seems like some of my backlinks from link exchanges in particular, are loosing some weight.

    Link exchanges are worth very little - unless your getting a link from a really big site.

    Go look through the google webmaster guidelines. its posted there that people should not exchange links. Only link to sites that your interested in and not for link building purposes.

    It was good for SEO 3-4 years ago, carries very little weight now.

    Link exchange is good for SEO, bud try to get site wide hard link exchange. This brings you also some extra traffic
