    Here is a interesting tool.
It ranks your headline's emotional value. Mine scored 100% spiritual . It helped me refine a couple of ads that are working better now.

If you don't mind me asking what sort of conversion rates are you guy seeing from AdWords -> CB without a landing page?

So far I have 70 AdWord clicks and 1 conversion worth $15. I've still made money at this point but I'm a little concerned with the low conversion rate.

I am now getting 2 - 3% on my best campaigns. If it is lower than that I will rewrite the ad or create another adgroup with less kws

From past experience in this sort of area,

For every 10 products you pick 2 or 3 will be the really really good ones, so it a matter of working through as many products as you can to find the really good ones.

Plus tweaking of your ads etc etc.

Well lets all mention the products that aren't any good, save us all a lot of wasted time and money.

Then we can say which ones are really really good.......or is that going to far :D

Right, I understand that. I was just making sure you weren't tracking which ad text was converting better because with CB and AdWords I do not see how that is possible. Testing for CTR though isn't a bad idea as long as you don't mind assuming that ads with a higher CTR have a higher conversion. In my experience, however, this hasn't always been the case. Sometimes we've created new ad text that way out-performed previous ads as far as CTR is concerned, but the conversions went way down. Just have to be careful I guess.

I use a cheap affilate tracking program I found to track the conversions from each group. I break my terms up into small groups and assign an affiliate code to each group. When I find which group is converting I pull the terms that have been clicked on out and give each one their own afiliate code and ad. This way I can see which individual term is converting best.
I could give each term it's own ad and code right from the start but that is too time consuming.

How do you track conversions seeing they do not convert on your site, but on the affiliate's site of which you have no control? I know there are a very select few companies out there that provide a service such as this, but it is not cheap, and I don't think the implementation is very good. Would you mind sharing the software you are using?

Sorry, yes I got a bit off topic there  . My brain was out of gear.
I was talking about it for a product I sell on my site, not the affiliate products I am working on.

At the moment I spent 60$ to make 240$

It's not as good as Sunchy's ROI but it's nice.

I started 7 campaigns at the same time marketing over 25 products. I think the process of filtering the bad ones out takes about a month...

It happened yet again. There has got to be some explanation for this.

I found an SEO related phrase that only had one other advertiser. I was thinking about selling Brad's SEO Elite but trying to find a 5 - 10 click is bloody hard. When I found only one other advert I thought you beauty! But then .67cents a click!!

I have been thinking that maybe the lowest possible bid is based on a calculation of the highest bid i.e. The other advertiser was an idiot and bids $1.50 when he doesn't have to. But then I have struck this where there are no other advertisers within cooee.

Can't make head or tail of it. Anyone have any idea?

I've been using a few keywords recently that said they were inactive, but after being left for a day or so I noticed that I had a significant amount of clicks & impressions even thought the keyword still said it was inactive.

Maybe you could try leaving it inactive with your 10 cent bid for a day or two and see what happens...
