If you run more than one ad Google will put them on rotation. Then it will stick with the one that gets the most clicks.

Somewhere there is an option to run your 2 or even 3 ads at even periods so over the course of a few days they all have equal time being shown, This is better than Google deciding which one is best and showing it more than the other.
It takes a couple of hundred clicks before you can gage which one is the best.

I have used it before but now I can't find where that option is.

This is pretty weird, I'm having a bit of a hard time converting clickbank products on mondays, wednesdays and sundays. Even if I throw more visitors at it the other days there have been no sales at all - so from now on I'll stick to promosting it on the good days :)

Adwords is begining to shit me with it's inconsistencies.

Once again I found I highly searched phrase with no ads attached to it at all.
I add the phrase to an existing unrelated campaign to see the cost - 0.13 AUD. I then delete it.

Create a new campaign and Google wants 0.26 cents! Once again like the other examples the phrase relates to a business name. I was thinking about becoming an Adwords Professional but how would I explain these anomalies to clients?

Has anyone ever read about Google having high prices for highly searched phrases even though there is no one else bidding for the same phrases?

    Thanks
    Jim
btw still averaging $20USD / day in sales but have isolated non performing KWs and reduced daily costs to less than $3USD

Shit...one of my terms that very rarely gets clicked took a hit today, It was clicked on so many times that my daily budget was used up  .
I have heard of this happening and thought people were exagerating but now...well !!!!! it is the first time this has happened to me.

I'm glad I set my budget low, for some reason I review the budget weekly and keep it about or just above the previous weeks. Now I know why I do that :)

Another one to add to your list Jim.

    My update:

Since I joined the contest here I spend:

$25,43 on 370 clicks and 20.000 impressions spread over 7 campaigns.

This resulted in a total of 5 sales worth $149.89.

The things bottering me are the low CTR's of some campaigns and some campaigns didn't convert yet. But all together I made a nice profit thusfar and should be able to continue like this.

Wow, I had not checked this thread for awhile. Lots of great stuff here.

You know one of the MANY things I really like about this forum and the affiliates that hang out is here is the willingness to share info - knowing that if you give more you GET more which will make you all stronger marketers.
