That does not return any results for me - from stuff I know is in the text files from the other site. Christoph
I always thought that Overture data was weird sometimes... But I think there's going to be some anomalies in whichever search list you're looking at. Thanks guys, good job.
I've download the files and uploaded them to a server, but I'm still working on loading this stuff... it's going to take a while to get it available online. If it was my own personal server I could just beat the heck out of it... but I need to be somewhat considerate!
I feel sorry for user 6821 "vanessa yoingco" who appears to be having trouble with her paypal account in file 06.txt. I wonder what other personal details are held in these files?
I have downloaded the data. Adding it to my database. Each file is taking arond 5 minutes to get added. Still 5 more to go. I will try to find following information from that database. For my keyword my site ranks at position 5 from a long time. I want to find out whether its worth to double my advertising budget to get 1st or 2nd ranking. This is how I will work it out.... Assume (from database) There are total 100 results for my keywords. The first ranked site gets 50 hits for that site. Second site get 15 hits for that keyword. My site ranked 5th gets 5 hits for the site. So to get the first position, I can make my advertising budget 5 times. And, it will still be worth as I will be geting 10 times more visitors.
Yeah I used a server, but as some of you'll said the data is just wacky because I haven't processed all the files yet, that is the first one of 10 it was late last night, I'll finish tonight. wow, some people ... ...
This one seems to be pretty useful and works. Its not very slow either. I guess not many people know about it yet. http://dontdelete.com The domain is still replicating.. so you can get to it from the IP as well.. http://63.212.167.185
I also like dontdelete.com It was really fast. I was in the process of changing the focus of my site but thanks to this I think I'll stick with what I started with. Great tool!
the only thing that sux about dontdelete is that when you search for KEYWORD it returns all [KEYWORD *] results but not [* KEYWORD] results. so a search for web design would return web design articles but not accessible web design
Hey peach.. actually you can throw a [%] sign into the search box and get whatever you want.. The stored procedure puts one at the end automatically.. we just did this for speed. so if you type in [%web design articles] you'll get the results you want..
So is this the time to block few thousand new domain names? or is this the time to start 50 new junk blogs?
