I really like the design and set-up. No complaints here, 'cept what everyone else said, an "About Us"/"Company" page would be nice. I would be interested in a few of your pieces if you accepted PayPal. The header is very pretty. Kalina
Yes the store accepts paypal or debit/credit cards by Worldpay. So paypal works fine. The store is starting to make quite a few sales, I have actioned quite a few of the changes and have had some enquiries about wholesale discounts. About us page added. Added more detail to contact page Added Worldpay logo's etc Added Wholesale page Added currency conversion link on product display page. Its getting a couple of hundred visitors from the search engines now so looks like its will be a good family business for my partner. I should have a telephone number setup for it as well within the next week which helps build confidence. Thanks for the feedback, any other thoughts are more than welcome. Edit: Added Paypal Logo > Thanks Kalina - forgot about that. Also if anyone wants to order from the store after adding product to your cart enter the dicount code "DP" and click on update which will give you 12% discount on anything.
No, that was poorly typed, I meant the shop takes payments through Worldpay or you can choose to pay by paypal instead when checking out. You can select the payment method in the checkout.
Hi sji, As a UK based person looking for jewellery I feel I'm fairly qualified to step up to the bat and give you what I think might be some of the thoughts of a UK based person looking for jewellery I like the look of your site a lot, but as has been mentioned before when I click the link I feel I'm going to an internal page. Yes, it's great I see a variety of products in front of me, but my natural instinct is to find the main page, so that's distracted me straight off because I'm wrongly assuming that this isn't it. For what my opinion is worth, the problem could be solved with just a couple of friendly, welcoming paragraphs at the top, then a selection of maybe half a dozen or so of your most popular products below that. Make them a cross section so visitors can see a varied selection of your range right on that first page, like you have now, but a smaller selection. Personally I'd also put the search box up the top rather than tucked away at the bottom of the left hand column, but then that's just personal choice I think, although it's more likely to be used if its more visible. Hope that's of some help. Incidentally, how is Peterheid these days? Haven't been up that way in quite a while.
Cold/wet/hot/roasting/snowing most days, same old multi climate/4 seasons weather in one day Yeah, I will be adding new products to the shop today and will get that paragraph on the homepage sorted so that it seems more like a welcome/homepage, cheers.
You need to have some type of contact number if you are using Worldpay. I'm not sure how often they check but they do as they are my Payment Processor. They usually give you at least one warning though and a few days to put it up. Just thought I would give you a heads up.
I think all the plastic mannequins are a little creepy. Maybe some real models...at least on the home page.
Well, I would just like to say thanks for the comments/help. Just made my first "trade/wholesale" order to N.Ireland for $500 and the store has reached its 100th order. Sweet!
