The Trader Game - Please give me review

The Trader game is,an easy beginners’ strategy game suitable for all ages, which was conceived in 2010.

The Roman Empire fell and with it came a new world order. The Dark Ages, which followed, made trade between cities almost impossible. The demand for goods around the known world grew and many traders made a profit.
As new trader, you will need to discover the ancient world we have created for you. Build a trading empire using all the tools the game offers.

The goal of the game is to be in the top traders list. You can achieve this by having more gold, bandits and ships then everyone else. You can attack other traders, capture trade ships, find treasures in quests, steal or burn other trader's goods and help your friends by sending them aid. If you are top rank in the city its means that you are controlling the port.

You got a nice platform there, with a bit of fine tuning, it could be quite enjoyable. I don't like how it refreshes the page every time I go somewhere on it though, you might wanna look at that. But a very good start.

Hey there, I really like your game and its got great potential. I personally feel that a step by step tutorial will be a big help. Something similar to how farmville treat their new users. Can I ask how you made the game? Do games on Facebook require extensive amounts of development?

The game have step by step tutorial you can find it above in the game screen.
I made the game using PHP/MYSQL/AJAX/CSS/HTML/FACEBOOK API and I have more then 5 years experience designing and programming massive online web games.
And yes facebook games need some extra work then general web games.
But It's what I love to do

 

OT: I went that way once, and I couldn't find any decent tutorials on the FB API, apart from facebook's own, but for me it was actually quite useless. But it was definitely something I wanted to do, I love building RPG games in BASIC, and I really wanted to make an online one, but after a while of fruitless efforts, I sort of gave up. I might go there again one day, who knows?
