Do paid directories are worth? I mean as a directory owner will there be paid submissions frequently ?

Tuning: Most free web directories will move to pay directories sooner or later. I am for pay directories as this allows the ower to develope the directory and give it more value.

I not only say this because I have 5 pay web directories of my own but it is my practice. My www.seocompany.ca site is currently in DMOZ.org, Yahoo! directory, MSD bCentral, business.com, uncoverthenet.com and many many other pay directories.

Do pay directories get lots of submissions. The good ones and the ones that are marketed well do. I call web directories Google-Blessed-Links. Matt Cutts is saying get into lots of them, and that is is as natural a thing to do as for a small business to get into the white and yellow pages.

The real question is, is it good for the website owner to pay a directory to have his site included. I for one say MOST Definitaly!
