    Biggest Marketing Lie #3 “It’s all about getting
    your name out there”



    Sup my friends,

    Ok, if you’ve read my last two thread articles recently, you
    might be asking yourself, “Joe, If I’m going to be cutting the
    line to outsmart the competition, the only way for me to do
    that is to get my name out there, right?

    From most marketers & ad agencies, they would swear up
    and down it was their “image” that pulled their profits,
    they will tell you that you need to build “awareness”, build
    a “brand” of your-self so if a prospect decides to buy, you
    are the first person who pops up in mind.

    This actually works, and is effective with some of the bigger
    brands like Coke, Pepsi, Nike, etc. But IT WILL NOT WORK
    FOR YOU.

    These brands have money to spend on “brand” advertising.
    You don’t. You and I are the little guys. We want cash in our
    pocket now. And we want it TODAY.

    Building a brand takes years, and although effective, can
    take several years before you see a return on your invest-
    ment. IF that’s the route you want to take, fine. But if
    you want to make cash today, there is but one strategy
    you should be focusing on.

    And that’s ADVERTISING.

    What you need is for people to buy now. “Branding” will NOT
    put food on your table, support your family, and go on wonderful
    vacations. It just won’t happen.

    REMEMBER : Unless you have a bottomless budget, you CAN
    -NOT build image, generate consumer awareness, or create
    brand equity with dollars.

    Our focus should solely be on generating profits. The branding
    will come quite naturally with litte effort, but only as a result
    of straight-forward advertising.

    Look, I’ve tried both methods, and I will be the 1st to tell ya,
    that branding is a waste of your time. You become much more
    profitable when you are there when that prospects ready to
    buy, than waiting for the time when they’re looking to buy.

    I hope I’ve made myself quite clear.

    In conclusion, Instead of “getting your name out there”,
    create a list of people who WANT what you have to offer
    and focus you energies and marketing efforts on them,
    and ONLY them.

    Branding speaks for itself as a result of EFFECTIVE ADVERTISING.
    NOT the other way around.

    I don’t fault those who say “branding is the key to my success”,
    it’s likely they really do think it was because of their branding
    efforts, when it really was their strong marketing expertise.

    Attraction marketing is a great strategy to learn how to
    advertise effectively and with DEADLY results that shows in
    your bank statements. If you’re struggling in your marketing
    efforts, I can be 95% sure that this is the major problem
    standing in your way.

    You can’t get around this, you must face it sooner or later,
    so if you are struggling or just starting out in this “Internet
    Marketing Buisness, do yourself a favor and grab “Magnetic
    Sponsoring” I fyou don’t already have it.

    If you do and still struggling, re-read the course several times
    until it is ingrained in that fat head of yours (I kid…I kid - my
    head is full of wholesome beef).
