    The Biggest Marketing Lie#1:
“All I need is a Good Product, Good Service, and a Low Price”

How many times have you been suckered into believing
that the reason why you are failing was because of your
product, customer service, or too high a price?

It is a BIG mistake to start an online business, open your
doors, and wait for people to show up. Yet for some
strange reason, they never come. Next thing you know,
    you’re out of business.

In some cases, people spend months, sometimes years
working to perfect the product or service they sell.
Constantly delaying action because they believe everything
    has to be “Perfect”.

People don’t show up at your online store for good product
or service. It’s expected. What they WANT is a good
reason to buy your product or service. Fail to provide
that REASON WHY, and they’re high tailing outta there.

Focus on getting people to show up. Everything else like
fine tuning product and service is secondary. Of course,
you want your product or service to be top notch, but
having good product or service alone won’t make people
buy, it will only make them want to come back.

This is just how powerful attraction marketing is. You
will find that it was never about the product or service.
But it was about you, how well you market, and how
    others perceive you.

Marketing success is not about cool ideas, perfect products
or service. Marketing success is about finding people who
DESIRE what you have to sell and finding efficient ways to
get that message across to them. Making them want to
    buy ONLY from YOU.

When you are an ace at this marketing gig, than you can
start perfecting your products, services and develop brilliant
    ideas.

THAT IS THE ORDER. FOLLOW IT.

Most people have it so backwards. Your first problem is
finding the market for your product/service, and secondly
worrying about what you’re going to sell.

Let’s talk for a moment about low price
and why you should avoid it.

Low price is the function of the herd mentality. People
feel they need to be somewhere in the “ball park”, feeling
the need to be similar in price to their competitors to
    have a chance.

My experience has proven that low price is reserved for
those who are inefficient marketers. If you compete on
price, there wasn’t enough value established in the eyes
of your prospect, leaving them no other choice but to
    shop around for price.

    Comprende?

I have learned that success in business is dependent on
how good your marketing is. Nothing more, nothing less.
Price, service, and ideas are all secondary to good marketing.

Stop wasting your precious time trying to come up with
the next “best thing”, and start focusing on attracting
people who will buy from you.

To accomplish this, as I stated in previous Marketing Lie
posts, you must establish yourself as an expert in your
field. Not some run of the mill mall kiosk peddler. This
creates the buying preference in prospects minds. You
    become the obvious choice.

And best of all, it reduces “Price Anxiety”. Eliminating
competition from the battle field (non-existent), and
allowing you to charge virtually whatever price you damn
    well choose for your product/service.

This concludes the end of this series. I will be posting
short videos soon on each of the 5 Biggest Marketing
Lies Topic, stay cool, stay profitable, to your success
    my friends!

This is really great info. Covers many mistakes I have made over the years as far as being focused solely on the product and totally underpricing myself. I am surprised there aren't more comments.
