    Are you sure those are high paying keywords?? Because 1. the competitions are not very tough(checked 3). 2. not many ads on the right hand side.

    traffic is the main problem with adsense sites. I would rather target something that gets $0.20 per click and the competitions are not so tough.

    I dont know "who" put that list together, but its a little off.

    The number 1 and number 2 items is sex and dating. The owner of "plenty of fish" - a dating site, makes something like 1 million dollars a month from adsense.

    The problem is, a lot of people do not want to say that sex, dating and relationships are the number 1 topics because in some countries its taboo to talk about such stuff. There may be cultural or religious beliefs to where those people are not supposed to talk about such topics in public.

    So topics such a "student loans" are moved up.
