How do you go about this if you have multiple keywords or multiple sections for your website ? Do you just do a general title tag ? how does this work ?

If you meant Title to be used while submitting then Go for multiple titles < keywords > for submitting . It will be helpfull than using one title for submissions .

You can use different keyword in the title (suitable to your website theme) for each submission.

So if I have a website on fruits and I have different categories such as apples, strawberries etc etc

should my titles be Fruits ? or i can mix it and be Fruits, Strawberries, Apples. Or at times just have Apples ?

Well really depends on what you want to concentrate on in ur fruit store:

i.e if you are selling fruits ... u can have "fruit store", Fruit Market" or else you can have "Apple & More" depending on ur niche

Use different titles for SEO purpose.
If you are looking to target more keywords for SERP then use different titles.

Submit to different directories - as a single directory wont accept all the URL twice

I make my title the 3 most used words so I get top spot on most directory's.

So say if I have a nintendo gaming site I would choose these three words.

Nintendo Wii forums/or/news/or/reviews/or/cheats depending on what kind of Nintendo site you run.
