"Never look at your ads while your visiting your site"

The better the blended ads, the more temptation will be to click on your own ads and the more chance to get banned

oh yes getting banned hurts

 

so does it mean that if I put 1 ad code on my site, my CPC will increase?
right now I got 3 blocks on my site and I make an average $1 per click.

 

not true. I add three and overall earnings are rising.

 

The reason fewer ad units/blocks can increase earnings is that only the highest paying ads will be shown on your site. But the benifit (or lack of) depends on your site, so you would be better off doing some research.
Things I have learned? Less thinking, more doing (mainly regarding content writing.)
