My biggest mistake was not doing enough research before doing business with someone. I invented and patented a warmer for x-ray tables, mammo machines, gurney’s, etc. The patent process was a big learning experience. The biggest lesson was that there are a ton of fake companies out there trying to take your money. They use your excitement and drive against you. It really sucks because I’m sure a lot of great ideas go to waste because these companies drive the life out of these inventors. Bottom line; at a minimum check out businesses on the BBB (better business burrow) website. I luckily only lost $1000 with this company. The only reason I caught it is because they gave me a generic commercial product review and my product was medical supply. When a company tells you your product will sell great, send them more money to get it going you get excited. Problem is they were talking about TV commercials, and radio spots. Now I don’t know about you but I haven’t bought many x-ray table warmers off the TV in a while. :p

My biggest mistake was to explain to my ex-wife how much some of my domains were worth. You can guess the rest....

:) another related mistake was that I gave her two really good sex related domains. I wasn't into domain names business and I though I'll keep the other domains and eventually build a decent business on them. I now finally found time to do something with those domains - develop them or sell them - and I started learning more about domains and web business. Now I realize how stupid I was to give her those domains... Order or magnitude stupid.

I have yet to build a single page of content on SEX-DRIVE.ORG, even though I registered it on 06-Jun-2006.

    That's pretty stupid. :D
