    I'm Derrick from Texas...thus the username :)

    I've been a mostly behind-the-scenes guy for several sites since 1996 but I also churn out a few of my own projects every now and then.

    Hope to share a lot and learn a lot.

    i'm from Port Arthur, TX (in the southeast corner of the state) but I now live in Houston...forced to move after a mean babe named Rita (hurricane, that is) left my house in a wreck :(
