    Hey guys,

I don't submit feedback that often because most of the time I'm positive that you know what you're doing.

But there's a problem that really, really needs re-thinking because the current solution obviously doesn't work perfectly. I'm talking about the spam.

When you open 9 out of 10 threads, the replies are either "me is profesional dezigner an can do this projekt for you at resonable price" or some stuff copied from the internet, and it sucks.

For people like me, who actually try to write useful stuff, this is really upsetting. I remember a week or so ago when I started a thread similar to this one it got deleted and I got warned for spam, because not even the moderators expect the user to write so much content and really try to make a name for himself around the forum for being helpful, not by spamming the hell out of it.

So maybe, just maybe the restrictions of Peon users are too easy. I think they should have to write a captcha for every post, only be allowed to post replies at a distance of X minutes one from the other, and/or maybe they should have more posts approved by mods before being allowed to post whatever they like.

Just my 2 cents. And please, oh please no "this is good idea" replies to this thread. Thanksies!

Spam is a major problem which has grown as the forum grows.. As a member about all you can do to help is make a report.

Thank you for any help you can give.

The captcha idea is pretty good for newbies to avoid the botters, to a certain degree. I would also like to see a minumum amount of posts
before users can actually start a thread of their own, or something like that. Maybe 20 posts before the option to start a thread is unlocked?
