guest posting is one of the best marketing strategies today especially for high page rank and powerful backlinks but it requires work, time and most of us hate doing it. I have tried an easy approach with some good bloggers. I have a great blog with great content i publish on it. so simply I asked other bloggers to give me a contextual link from one of their post in exchange of contextual link from my one of my post. In most cases bloggers will accept . try it
Yes, i agree that this is one of the best way to get content but before we can get good blogger for the guest blog, we need to have a mature website/blog, else other blogger will not interested for the guest blog
agreed with you both!... in addition to the mature site, it will be very important also to find the relevant blogs from which to request a guest post... I have stumbled a tool - Guest Post Hunter - never tried it, but it will be good to include some automation within the process.
Yes, here you have to think of two things.. You should have a blog to give link and link exchange is black hat method of seo.
Is that not a reciprocal link then? Anyhow, in my experience, bloggers will happily link to other blogs without much convincing but need a little more persuasion (namely a cash incentive) when asked to link to a commercial site.
Guest blogging is not panacea and the only way of natural link building. It's quite difficul to find trusted and authoritative blog that will accept the article and allow to place a link (!). On the other hand, what the reason to place an article in "low quality blogs"? It's easier to submit article to directory with high PR at least.
Google loves freely given, editorial links. But if they find two sites linking to each other, they're likely to know those sites engaged in some type of mutual link exchange. And, Google frowns upon link exchanges.
Google is able to recognize if you are exchanging articles, blogs and it would be classified as link exchange.
