The Site Search Not Working!

Discussion in 'Products & Tools' started by Acquizeta, Jun 14, 2004.

I followed all the instructions to get the google seach engine to search my site but it doesn't seem to search all my pages. I tried searching for words that I know are on my pages but it doesn't seem to be able to find them. What could be wrong?

Thanks for anyone that can help me.

It seems you have not listed your site in your profile.

The pages must be listed in google for the tool to work, so one possible answer might be that the words you are searching for are on pages that have not yet been indexed by google.

Seems to be working for some pages but not all of them.

How do I get google to index them? I assume it's done automatically? Can I tell which pages have been indexed?

Just get more links. The more links, the faster your site will be indexed.

Search google for allinurl:yourdomain.com and you should see which pages google have indexed so far. The search should work for these pages.
