The signature char limit

    I have very long urls, it is limiting my signature length :(

    URL length shouldn't be counted in the signature length limit

    Most of the members dont have such long urls..

    Why dont you try tinyurl.com :)

    i guess the affiliate links are pretty long, and it is better that the chars are short! anyways, it is not going to increase!IMO so forget it,

    rather get the top level domains in the signature, that will be nice, i actually don't prefer deap linking all that:rolleyes:

    I guess the URL that you're trying to put in your sig is just too long. I'm afraid that's the consequence of placing long URL's in you sig.

    [thread=320193]this thread[/thread]
    Which is certainly shorter then:
    [url=http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=320193] this thread[/url]

    Both show up as:
    this thread

    Well tinyurl.com is best for you but it does not help you in SEO. You should remove http to make some short URL.
