    Ok, i started watching the movie........more like forced, didn't like the beginning, but omg, with so many people recommending it, i should really watch the end of it.

    But, can someone tell me what makes it so good? :confused:
    (And i'll make sure i get to watching it, but, i just want to know what makes it so good :eek:)

    I love this movie. It's right up their with "The Godfather".

    MixedBag - What makes it so excellent is just the way it's written and directed. They couldn't have gotten a better cast.

    Incredible movie.

    U wanna know what makes this movie good????? My answer is the climax!

    Watching is ur choice... but its damn sure that u will miss worlds best movie if u dont watch it!

    Shawshank is my favourite movie too - lost count of the number of times I have seen it. It didn't really get much credit when it first came out but is one of those classic movies that people watch through recommendation by a friend.

    I don't relly have a favorite but some of the ones I really like are Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, and Dumb and Dumber to name a few.
