I have got great traffic from SEO, mostly google and if there is something I learned throughout the years it's that I should write a nice 500-1000 word article with great quality content.

I've been able to put a lot of SEO techniques in place for my advertising clients but this is the first post I've seen that really gives you very clear steps on how to improve SEO. I also agree with you that sharing tips is more important than "safeguarding" tips for fear of competition. There's plenty of work to go around and as businesses grow - we all are rewarded.

This is the very effectives ways to get free traffic but i think content also is very important so you will have visitors who will comeback or subscribe to your website and not for just one time.

It takes so much more to get traffic now days, the things mentioned are just too basic and everybody does just that, you CAN'T win by doing exactly what everybody else does.
You have to be creative!!
You can make quality videos on Vimeo instead of just jumping into a much crowded pool like YouTube.
You can go to sites like buzzfeed and comment as your Facebook fan page to drive huge amounts of traffic to your page.
You can use related content traffic exchange plugins like Engageya to get additional related traffic to your site.
And so on and so on. If you think you can win by doing exactly what the rest are doing, you are wrong and wasting your time..
