I'm now getting 72.14.207.104. The other computer right next to me is getting 64.233.161.104 US, Maryland
Sorry for the long delay in checking into this thread... Here are the "New" Datacenters found in this search: New: 66.249.87.99 New: 66.249.87.104 New: 72.14.207.99 New: 72.14.207.104 New: 72.14.207.106 New: 216.239.59.103 Thanks guys!!!! - now to find the time to add them to the tools.... Caryl
Whoops. Sorry. I tried to add already known data centers. I have collected all 71 data center servers that I know of in my sig below. I have added the new ones listed above. Have I missed any?
Thanks Tom, I've been around and checking in daily, but I have been busier than a one armed paper hanger with crabs ...so, not much time to post or get involved in the threads. Caryl
OK... The new Datacenters have been added to the Datacenter Quick Check tool. I'll be adding to the other tools as I get the chance. Caryl
I have 72 Datacenters listed. I don't know which one you are missing though Here is my list of known Datacenters Caryl
Caryl, I think that I have found 6 more - some returning, some new. They are highlighted in red in my sig file below. It sure is tedious searching by hand! And what about the dc's that some folks say are up, but that I cannot see in California? (also, noted in the file below). Are some dc's only visible in certain geographic areas? If so, that is going to make for one big, hairy matrix. Kind of like alexa - I have never been able to connect - "server cannot be found". A complete mystery to me. I'm off to check your list. <edit> What about - 64.233.179.106 64.233.171.103 - 216.239.57.103 - 216.239.59.103 Are you seeing those? Can you really see 64.233.187.104? I can NEVER see it here in California. Interesting stuff.
Thanks - have added three of the 4 above to my list! (had one of them already on it) Problem is - figuring out how to organize them for the results in the Google watch Tool ??? Caryl ps I have no problems accessing any of the Datacenters (here in New York). Are you searching by pinging or just entering them into your browser?
Cool - glad to be able to contribute. I just enter the address in the browser. Don't know how to ping - actually, I'm a hardware guy. Do a little html, once did some basic. Ha! <edit>Went to network tools, tried ping, and got this - "Ping 64.233.187.104 Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 15 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 15 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 15 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 16 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 15 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 15 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 14 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 14 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 15 ms Round trip time to 64.233.187.104: 15 ms Average time over 10 pings: 14.9 ms" Does this mean that the data server is there, but just doesn't respond to the address I input? <reedit>Whoa! NOW it's there. I don't get it. <re-reedit>I'm an idiot. Can't tell 64 from 66. Please disregard the above. All these similar numbers make me dizzy.
TWO MORE - 64.233.187.106 64.233.187.107 My grand total is now 78. Is that right? I added a TOTALS row at the bottom of the table, to make it easier to compare the numbers.
.98 - 1 .99 - 18 .103 - 3 .104 - 19 .105 - 6 .106 - 10 .107 - 13 .147 - 8 Which one has one too many? <edit>Just found one more that has returned - 216.239.59.98 That makes 79 for me.
