any conversions?, I might hop on board

 

I have been making sales almost daily and getting pretty good conversion rates using article marketing. There have only been a handful of affiliate sales so far but it seems to be ramping up.

 

I started promoting this, I was thinking few more before and after pictures will help for better conversion

 

I'm a bit confused.
How this product is different from acne scars?
Is it the same or anything else?

 

Either I'm doing something terribly wrong, or that's somewhat of an overstatement. I'm focusing one of the less trafficked keywords from the least for 2-3 days now, with around a dozen articles / blog posts leading to my landing page (plus a bunch of assorted links from social media, blog comments etc.), and so far I'm stuck in the second page.

Maybe it's just a matter of waiting for a few more days? Maybe I took a bad move in setting up a landing page as a simple blog post in my main blog? Ideas, anyone?

 

I have had this request from another affiliate so today I'll be adding more before and afters and a testimonial from an MD.

 

Send me an email or a PM with your keyword and maybe I can help you. Some low traffic keywords are hard and some high traffic keywords are easy. It takes a little trial and error. If you search for 'scar removal products' you'll see 3 results on page 1 and if you search for 'reduce scarring' you'll see several on pages 1 and 2.

I've actually reached page 1 for the term 'scar removal' with just one article but then it got bumped down over the course of a few days. I still have several articles on page 2 and 3 for that term though.

Still not got around to promoting your product lol have 3 domains ready (yer i like to make mini sites, as much as 5 per product) just finishing off 2 websites and 17 articles and then ill be moving onto you (this friday).

Hows the sales going so far then? both affiliate and your own?

 

Not bad. I haven't had much time to promote in the past week because I've been split testing the sales page and link building, but its making sales pretty much daily.

I have one affiliate converting at 17% and others that aren't converting at all so I guess it really depends on the traffic you're sending.

I'm personally getting pretty consistent sales off the set of articles I wrote a few weeks ago. I need to start writing some more though.

The other good news is there have been no refunds yet, which I expected.

Just wanted to say that traffic, sales, and gravity for the product have been rapidly increasing over the past couple days and I wanted to say thank you to all the affiliates and everyone who helped me with the sales page.

Have you tested a higher price point, getting the commission to 25+ really helps.

 

I've tested $37 and $27 and just bumped it back to $37 today which puts the affiliate commission at around $22.

Had to change the domain name to http://www.digitalscartreatment.com because of trademark issues

This doesn't affect hoplinks or tracking at all so don't worry about that. Just wanted to let affiliates know in case you were curious about the new domain.

Anyway, there's much interesting information in that chart. I was feeling spiteful towards my visitors on account of the 2/1 OFS/sale rate, but I see the top affiliates are getting tougher luck. #1 has 26 OFS and 6 sales. If that sort of thing happened to me, I'd go totally rabid :-/
