The Scammed By Tastedrop Discussion Is Continuing At NamePros.com

    If this gets me an infraction, then so be it, that is a risk I am prepared to take.

    I'm not letting this matter go.

    The bottom line is, that I have been scammed out of a domain which I had had made absolutely clear was for myself.

    I have posted up at NamePros.com many of the emails confirming my relationship with TasteDrop and what I thought was my ownership of the domain Reg-No.com, a fact that Dan of TasteDrop.com acknowledges.

    The thread is at the top of the General Domains Discussion Forum at NamePros, if anyone would like to see an update to this situation.

    It's when you use software to register a domain that was just dropped by it's former owner. When somebody choses not to renew their domain, they become available to anybody to register.

    Using a bot in this was isn't the smartest of ideas, but it works for some people I guess.

    I prefer Backordering if I'm going to do stuff like this, it's cleaner and safer. But that's just me :)
