The common opinion seems to be that she is pretty hot ...... for a politician. Maybe she could get into showbiz.

I don't have a link yet because this is breaking news but they said on MSNBC today that a McCain campaign advisor had to talk her down because she wanted an opportunity to "speak to the nation" last night during McCain's concession speech time.

.... what a (fill in the blank)!

What caused the election to McCain is W.
    W. being the worst president ever and putting all aspects to deep bottom, people could just not vote for another republican...

If you looking for pretty girls go look at models. If you care about politic issues then look for a politician.

It'd be unreasonable to expect him to keep every single campaign promise - No President has *ever* done that. That link actually has him performing pretty well. 22 out of 26? Not bad!

On the thread's topic: I'm starting to think that Sarah Palin actually will run for President in 2012 and that she has a decent shot at winning the GOP nomination (or if not, splitting the party real nicely.)

I think that's a dream scenario for the Democratic party and a nightmare for the Republicans because I think she is unelectable in a general election.

Obama is not supposed to be the typical president, he is supposed to represent change remember.

Actually there 7 marked as compromised, making the number of promises that are compromised or just plain broken to be 11. so for every 2 promises he has kept, he has also broken or compromised one as well. If he continues this pattern for the rest of the 415 promises he has made, than i would think he would prove to be quite the typical politician.

However this is Obama. Mr. Change. Mr. Hope...Thats the BIG Promise right? Change? If he is just a typical politician, Thats obviously another broken promise.

As far as Palin goes, I think she is a great woman, and could possibly make a great president, but im hoping there are some better choices for the republican party.

Don't worry Zibblu, the only kicking butt obama is trying to do is get anyone who is not a socialist/liberal marked as a terrorist or extremist. I am betting you don't have a clue to what I am saying even though it has been in the news.

Exactly! Just keep quiet while we do what is necessary!

Edit: And if you can't keep quiet, remember, the DHS is now watching you!

I know exactly what you are talking about. What's really funny is that it was apparently the Bush admin. that asked the DHS to look into the right wing extremist groups. HA! The fact is it's always been right wing extremist groups that have been the most dangerous to America (remember McVeigh?)

I take it as insulting sexist rhetoric from bias individuals pushing their own bigoted agenda.
