    The SalesLetter Blueprint:

I put together a quick article on the blueprint to writing a saelsletter. I am not an expert but... I have made some.

This guide is a step by step process. It is ok to not go by everything this guide says. It is to be used as a guide, not a commandment. Testing is really the key in finding what works for your niche.

Here are the components that make up a successful selling sales letter. These are put in numerical order of where they should be placed on your sales letter. You will find descriptions for each of the components below.

    1. Header Image
    2. Order Pulling Headline
    3. Product Image
    4. Opening Paragraph
    5. Introduction to Your Product
    6. The Reason You Created This Product
    7. Features
    8. Benefits
    9. Testimonials
    10. Proof
    11. Stating What Problem Your Product Solves
    12. Stating What Your Prospect Will Receive When They Purchase
    13. Money Back Guarantee
    14. Your Guarantee
    15. The Reason They Should Buy Today
    16. Bonuses
    17. The Reason You Chose The Price You Did
    18. Closing Statement
    19. Order Form
    20. The P.S.

    1. Header Image:

You need a header. Some will tell you not to put one up, but this is a business. Having a professional looking website is key for success. A lot of people will think your site looks gimmicky and leave if there is not an image of some sort. People relate to images more than text.

I suggest that you put a person’s picture in the header. This brings back more results. People will feel like they can relate even more. You want to be very personal when writing your sales letter.

All you need is a couple of graphics, your product's name, and a THOUGHT PROVOKING question in your header. Your thought provoking question just needs to ask them if they are frustrated with the problem you are solving in the niche you are in.

Remember, the best looking site is not always the best converting. But a good looking graphic can't hurt, can it?

    2. Order Pulling Headline:

The header is the most important part of your entire sales page. This needs to provoke, be amazing, or just plain WOW! Try not to use the word "that" in the headline. It weakens a strong sentence and usually isn't necessary for a sentence to make sense. Talk about your customer and the problem they have... or the solution others have found. Don't talk about your product or yourself. Try to keep your headline under 20 words. I have found that ending the headline with 3 dots (...) will make them want to read the page more (I assume because it is leading down to the rest of the page).

Red works best when you are coloring your headline. The HEX color code I use is (CC,00,00). I suggest either using the font "Arial" or "Verdana". Testing is the best way to figure out what to use. Write 25+ headlines minimum before choosing one. Get other people's opinions on your headline choice. Ted Nicholas (the greatest copywriter ever alive who has made 5 Billion in revenue for his customers) said that he always creates 250+ headlines before choosing which one he wants to use. This is not the easiest part of your sales letter. This is the most important part of your sales letter.

    3. Product Image:

Using an ebook cover/product cover image can also INCREASE your conversions. Use lots of text, but keep it looking clean and professional. This can catch the eyes of your readers and entice them to read the rest of your sales page. Make sure the header and the product image are using the same themes and colors. Inconsistencies ruin future sales and prospect's opinions of you or your site.

    4. Opening Paragraph(s):

Now we get to the fun part. Write a non-offensive/open-to-everyone paragraph about who you are, what you have created, and why they need it. Here is a small example below.

“Hi, my name is Gary Busee, and I have seen how the troubles of *the problem that they have* can affect people just like you. I have decided to help you. I have found the solution to this problem. The solution is quite simple and you need it if you are ever going to stop banging your head against walls trying to *solve the problem you have*.”

Now, the above paragraph is something that I just came up with. It was just an EXAMPLE. It might not be too effective, so I suggest that you don’t use it without messing around with it a good bit. When writing your first bit of text, try to keep your paragraphs down to 3-4 sentences a paragraph. If this means it will take 4 paragraphs to open up your salesletter... so be it.

    5. Introduction to Your Product:

Now you need to introduce your product. This should be very simple for you. Just explain what it is… is it an ebook, study course, book, report, software, plr, articles, ect…

Also, tell them about your product and it’s components. RESTATE what the problem it solves is.

    6. Reason Why You Created this Product:

Tell them about why you created the product. Most likely you created it to SOLVE a problem, make some one feel better, or it might just be your product could be a luxury to some people.

    7. Features:

List ALL of the features you can think of in bullet points.

Push people’s buttons at this area of your sales page. Bold the most important features.

    8. Summary of the Benefits:

As you did with all of the features above, you need to list all of your benefits. How could your product benefit your future customers? What can it do for them? BOLD the most important benefits.

    9. Testimonials

Get testimonials from at least 3-5 people… minimum. This is part of the reason most people will buy a product, because it worked for someone else. Give away a couple copies for an HONEST review. Even pay $5 for a review. If you give away your product for free... for reviews/testimonials people might not want to hurt your feelings and tell you if your product stinks. If you pay to find out if your product is good or not, you will receive truth.

    10. Proof:

You needprovethat this works. You need to prove that you are not bluffing. Screenshots work, but videos do better. PROOF is what has made me buy many products.

    11. State the Problem Your Product Solves:

Now we need to write a paragraph or so on what your product SOLVES and why they need it.

    12. State What Your Prospect Will Receive When They Purchase:

Tell them what kind of product they are getting. Is it a video course? Audio? PDF? State that this product is “Magnificent” or “Stunning”. Compliment your product ONCE here.

    13. Money Back Guarantee:

Most people will not ask for a refund even if they didn’t like the product. The longer you set your guarantee for, the better. It is not uncommon for a 60 day or 90 day money back guarantee to exist. People will trust that you are less of a SCAM.

    14. Your Guarantee:

What do you GUARANTEE this product will do for them? Will they be able to make $xxx money with it? Will their bowling score increase by 20%? You have to have a guarantee. This is a very effective tactic for sales.

    15. What is The Reason They Should Buy Today:

What will they be passing up on if they don’t buy today? They might not remember to come back. Why should they BUY right now? What benefit will it have for them?

    16. Bonuses:

List all the EXTRAS that you will be giving them. Bonuses can sell a product. If you are giving them resale rights, state it.

    17. The Reason You Have Chosen Your Price:

Be CONCISE. Get straight to the point in this short paragraph/story.

    18. Closing Statement:

These are your last words on why they need your product, and how it will help them in whatever area they have a problem with.

    19. Order Form:

The word PURCHASE outsells the word Buy every day of the week. DO NOT use “buy it now” buttons. Use “pay” or “purchase” buttons. State your price here. This is almost your last chance to get your prospect to buy… wait… I mean purchase.

    20. Your P.S.:

This is your final chance to draw your customers in for a sale. You must use strong and persuasive text. Call for action, draw emotions, and SELL! SELL! SELL! Tell them they are missing out if they are not buying.

I hope this has been a great value to you. Follow the blueprints and create success! If you have any questions please email me at . Happy selling and may your conversions increase!

I hope that this has helped you.
