The right traffic stats

    Hello there guys.

I am going to buy some links and ad space from a couple of websites. As you may know, today we have all sorts of ways to spoof traffic stats: you can spoof google page rank quite easily, you can spoof alexa rankings, you can use bot-like apps with proxies to get alot of visits and so on( if you don't know how to spoof, don't ask, because I won't tell you! ).

So.....I come to the question: what kind of traffic stats do you ask a seller to provide and what methods do you apply to check these stats?

    Kind regards,

    Adrian

IMO you can never be 100% sure that the seller is providing real stats.
    I would check:
    1)Stats from server monitoring software(i.e. Webalizer,AWstats,etc.).
    2)Stats from 3rd party monitoring software(i.e. Google Analytics,StatCounter)
    3)Websites PR
    4)Backlinks
    5)Sellers reputation
