So under my name in google search I know have this: Some results may have been removed under data protection law in Europe.Learn more Yet google have not removed the information I have asked them to remove under the EU's right to be forgotten, in fact the pages I asked to be remove still rank on the first page for my name, this goes to prove the point that google will lie.
The right to be forgotten is bs. I know there are fake and defamatory pages that hurt people I know but equally I know there are pages people would like removed because they tell unpleasant truths I'd rather have a few falsehoods around and know that the real dirt is still available.
Google still have no right to index and cache my name and address, the person running the site doing this is a con-man and has been in prison, yet he is free to run around the internet posting other people's information and asking for money to remove it, no one has the right to do that.
Google is not your problem - talk to the police or your lawyer about whether you have any legal recourse against the con-man. It may be that they do have the right to do it, in which case you may need to get political and get laws changed. People do extraordinary things all the time, this might be your turn.
Have you contacted their webhost? Issued a legal warning to the host - don't let the international thing hold you back And have you set up a blog or website detailing (factually) what he's doing and why people should steer clear?
If the information shared is hurting you or your reputation I'm sure there's definitely something you can do, legally. Try making a complaint at the police station then forward it to google, to the webhost and the person running the site as well. Doing it the right, legal way is usually the best way. Don't fall into these people's traps. Good luck!
Idiotic accusations like that will get you no where. You have the right to appeal if the info is not removed. Just follow the guidelines. The info is NOT removed from google.com (only the local EU Google), so check that you are actually looking at the right Google TLD. Keep working on getting the info removed from the site/host that it is on. This whole right to be forgotten is starting to look messy and could get overturned tomorrow...
