You clearly haven't read it then. And anyway, no book is going to lay out an action plan and tell you what to type.

Well, why bother digging for gold when you can stand at the side and sell the shovels and hot dogs.

I sold someone a wardrobe for £2 the other day. It's got the same use as it did when it cost me £100.
There's a tonne of books down my local charity shop for £0.50.

Anyone with any intelligence and marketing savvy knows sour grapes when they see it. It's blatantly obvious that some of you don't have a clue. That's why I am where I am, and you are where you are. LOL. How many affiliates do you have? How many people are discussing YOU on forums? Are you doing 7 figures, 8 figures? LOL.

Your reviews aren't worth the keyboard you so boldly typed them on. Intelligent people prefer to pay attention to the reviews of people who know actually know what they are talking about, like Gary Halbert, Stone Evans, Willie Crawford, to name a few.

I don't care to get into a back and forth with people who have no value to me, so I'll let you guys go ahead keep hashing it out on your own for a while.
BTW, nice forum you've got here. Keep browsing it, that's where the real money is at.

    Dear RJ

Your jerk level is a bit off you can do much better I think don't run away now...

so which do you make 7 or 8 figures??

    10,000.00 7 figures eh?

Perception is key of course and for you to claim you make less would undermine the whole scheme don't you think??

    Good job ;)

Gave me a short laugh and a big smile!

Yeah...the other post about selling a suit and books at a discount store.
Go to Goodwill or Salvation Army stores and see what they have.
A lot of high earners on ebay hang out at such places purchasing items that they resell on ebay for big bucks!
A niece of ours bought a doll for a buck at her local Goodwill store.
Took pictures of it, front and back, etc...plus described the condition, markings, etc.
Put in on ebay a few days ago.
Now bidding is up to $120!!!!
I tried this last year, and to tell you the truth, I probably broke even at worst and made a few bucks at best.
Same with selling sites, ebooks, software, etc on ebay.
Some days, make money...other days, nothing.
Saw a site for sale on an auction yesterday....bidding was up to $29...and I thought about it, and prior to bidding, I saw the shipping charges...$172.50!!
No wonder the seller was giving hosting for life, etc...he will make it up on the shipping charges.
Just wonder if the present (and future)bidders noticed those charges.

And how much did you pay them for a positive review (one of the techniques you advocate in your book)? ;)

After having built two successful businesses, I can say with confidence that the "techniques" outlined in this "book" are not a path to success.

You will never go far in life with short-cons.

Yeah, the gurus (or at least they like to be called gurus), give each other great reviews.
The scratch my back, I'll scratch your back thing going on.
An ebook author, or software designer, will give away the product to others (usually again, the gurus with one huge email list) to get a good review. And let that person get first crack at letting the net know.
So to me, having a testimonial, or a review on a site, by someone is sometimes very suspect.
Get real, do you really expect to email someone who gave a good review on a product to say anything derogatory about the product?
Should do like they do on tv, put in "paid endorsement".

I have never actually read a post on any forum from any established forum member parising any ebook.

The truth is, if ANYTHING is really 'too good to be true' unsolicited people would be praising it. And not just shils but actual satisfied customers who really made money or whatever.

I have seen few praises for the rich jerk on any forum ouside of the richjerk website itself. Same of the adsense secrets ebook or any other ebook for that matter.

If someone really does have a surefire method for making easy money doing ANYTHING they will keep it a secret.

    Okay then IamNed.

    Ebooks:
    • The Rick Jerk is okay, but I can't see anyone actually following what he's written.
    • Joel's book "Adsense Secrets" is very very good.
    • That new one by Michael Rasmussen "Adsense Revenue Exposed" is hastily cobbled together shite aimed at the get rich quick crowd.

To be honest, if you're recommending something in an ebook and it has an affiliate program then you'd be a fool not to take part in it.

You can tell sincere links from ones that are there for the sake of it.

Sorry Ned, but you are mistaken. I receive unsolicited testimonials all the time. I don't even have time to put them up anymore. My page is already packed and there is a large backlog of emails from customers.

It's normal to be cynical about testimonies on web sites or in any advertisement, but don't assume that everyone is a liar. It's just not the case.

The Rich Jerk's book has too few pages, he should've elaborated more on things such as SEO. But besides that I think it's a great book.
