Wow it is available somewhere for free??

This is a problem how so??

Should we go shut down all the public libraries where 1,000,000s of books magazines newspapers and recorded media are free to take home read and use??

Sort of like a celebrity who hates publicity......

I have ads that have 55% CTR rate...should I write a book about it??

What should the book be about?? the 55% CTR, or how I was lucky to get that percentage??

    LOL

CTR's in that range are possible on very targeted pages.

Why not?? If you have a 50% CTR thats very special you can easily draft a book with the following contents:
What is Adsense - 3 pages
    Website design - 3 pages
    placing ads- 5 pages
    traffic secrets - 20 pages
    etc... another 50 pages

Make sure price is not below $100, just to show the credibility.

    Good Luck :p

How I got my 55% click through rate

    I built a site called http://www.toolsforadsense.com

I posted a link to it and sat back and watched.

    The content is highly targeted.

Looks ugly but that's another experiment altogether,, that someone else seems to have caught onto as I saw sonething written about ugly sites.

Do yo think the big square works in the left nav on the home page??

Imagine you spend months writing an ebook, coming up with an idea, marketing it and spending money promoting it. Then somebody starts just giving your product away free ........ Your exact product, with all your copyrights ......

Your sarcasm says more about your business acumen than anything else could, no come back needed.

World doesn't work that way salem where you jab someone and walk away

You still missed the point that the books are available for free in public librarys, and much like the Recording Industry of America which felt illegal download would cannabalize album or CD sales and was proven wrong so is the premis you state.

People have taken and shared others copyright material for years....and many of the copyright holders are making enough money to be happy. Perhaps people need to check their greed.

The Greatful Dead ....one of the largest money making musical groups ever allowed anyone and everyone to tape their concerts going so far as to let the more professional audio heads to plug into the bands sound board..

Yet they sold out more concerts, grossed more revenue, had 1000s follow them in hanger on businesses from venue to venue and still sell merchandise and recordings years after the death of the leader of the band Uncle Jerry Garcia (rip)

While many other lesser groups would have security personel... toss people from the concerts for recording their music or taking pictures. Those other groups could have learned a lesson from the Dead.... but like most people in life... choose instead to follow like lemmings to the sea....the not so intelligent business plan of the masses.

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As for business acumen..I was told not to judge the splinter in anothers eye... till I removed the tree from my own eyes.

You seem like you still need to learn that lesson.

Looked at your sig file lately...

Sell your soul so easily ???

Anybody read Hell's Dominion? When I read Rich Jerk, I'm reminded of that book. Not only can't you take it with you, but eternal unhappiness may result as well.

You just broke TOS. Edit your post to take out CTR just in case.

His Google adsense technique does get you a 20% CTR but the only problem is that with the more clicks you get the lower you get paid for every click. It gets pretty low so in some cases buying ads on Miva at 5 cents per click wouldn't be very profitable even at a 20% CTR.

Based on how you have your ads situated I can't see you getting a 50% CTR. It's possible. I guess 1/16 is clicking all 4 ads on both ad units so it could happen.

Its worth remembering that all the (so called) Adsense guru's are making most of their money from their mailing lists. It the prodcuts they sell on those that really makes them the big bucks.

Whilst I don't particularly like them I have to disagree with finaldestination in that he (or they) is not spamming if you have signed up and agreed to receive the emails.

Will - why the sarcasm? I only have about 60 posts but I joined Adsense the day it launched. Just because someone has only just joined this board doesn't make their points any less valid. In addition any post here with content (i.e. an opinion or fact or info or question) is infinitely better than silly one liners that dont actually say anything.

Because most often posters with very few posts who post messages recommending a product or service are the vendors of said product or service.

    The posts sound like this:

"I just found this great web site!"
    "This eBook is awesome!"
"I found this great service to build links!"
"I'm really happy with my hosting company!"

Have you read The Rich Jerk? He's exactly the kind of jerk that would use those tactics to push his crappy spam-book.

yea I agree with everyone above. these ebooks are pretty much worthless. Its all general knowledge, nothing new from on to another. Just large affiliate lists and stuff like that.

    Not exactly a scam...but almost.

I kinda feel like writing one:p
