Every now and then I check these forums for any sign of Shawn Hogan (posts dropped to a trickle by early 2007 and then nothing... till now). Mr. Hogan said once that if his company went under Optigold would be released into the public domain. As he has apparently lost interest in the project I think that it would be nice if he either sold the code to someone else, opened it to all, or at least officially end-of-lifed the product (maybe he could even sell his users to another product who could be all ready with a generic settings importer for us). As there are still a few users of Optigold, I wondered if his recent reappearance in the digitalpoint forums (search for user digitalpoint), and update of his website: http://www.shawnhogan.com/ might mean that any Optigold customers have seen responses, call backs, private forum messages, answering of phones, emails, what have you? Thanks.
I don't think this is likely to happen, there could still be the chance that he'd want to continue it.
