In a top secret action, 550 tons of yellow cake, suitable for making nuclear bombs were airshipped from Iraq to Canada. The last shipment was Saturday.

Uran was stored 2o km South of Bagdad.

Congratulation to the American President G.W.Bush and all that helped to keep this threat away from us.

It took 27 top secret flights to ship that material out.

What a defeat for anti-Bush movements that must be. 2 flies in one strike.

Sorry, a little correction it was shipped out by air and sea and it took 37 flights. The Yellow cake was bought by canadian Cameco Corp.

    Cheap Bush propaganda.
After destroying Iraq, and got millions of Iraqi suffering, now the whole world got screwed up with high oil prices. And all that Thanks to your leader who is BTW the most hated president in the world.

And you want to us to believe Bush did something great.
Bush is Anti-American. 23% approval rating.
Any smart president would be ashamed of that rating and would leave office.

Please don't tell us that BS Bush is successful. He is a failure.

Guess what? The current is changing.

The high oil price is due to OPEC and their speculators in the stock markets. Saudi Arabia made a "mock up" show as if they were concerned about it, and they are not but are behind all this together with Iran and others in the OPEC.

Now is also the chance that we can create alternative fuels and put it into mass production, then it will be cheaper than oil ever could be and also better for the environement.

thanks for that link.I had to translate it from German to English.

Still I believe it was a great achievement by all that were involved for protecting us and I still think it was justified to get into war with Iraq(even just for this yellow cake) after Saddam tried to gamble in a dangerous way. What could have happened when the material would have fallen into wrong hands. I can't imagine.

#1 The material is worthless for the most part before being refined. So without the technology to enrich it there is no real danger.
#2 If it was so dangerous the UN could have removed it, or put into the terms that Iraq has to hand it over, doesn't appear that was the case.
#3 Saddam did not work with the terrorists we are fighting, if you're worried about this material falling into the wrong hands you'd be against the war as that is when much of this stuff was left unguarded and open to be ransacked.
#4 It is not justified to go to war when he did not have to hand it over, it was not dangerous as it was, was under seal, etc.........

Sorry but those jumping on this news have no real rationale, hate to break your bubble.

"The removal of the yellow cake will keep the citizens of Iraq safe for years to come. The yellow cake could have posed a serious health risk for years to come if it were not removed."

The majority of the health risk was when we invaded and left these sites unsecured, Iraqi's using barrels from the yellow cake for drinking water.

In a secure setting I don't see how yellow cake is going to cause serious health risks.

You do realize you need much more than the yellow cake to make it extremely dangerous don't you?

if that would have been subjected to negotiation to hand it over it would have become of intense interest for all the others in that region and Saddam would have kicked the UN and smuggled it out, just for revenge, and as he did with many of his warplanes to his arch enemy Iran as we know(not during the recent war though and they were never returned). Especially his sons were extremly dangerous. We have learned the bitter truth of Kahn, Lybia, Iran, Syria, North Korea and what kind of networks they have already created. Do you think Saddam would have never used these links?

so you're able to tell what he'd of done to justify the fact that he was allowed to have them, or the fact that in their state they were not truly dangerous?

dangerous is enough, it doesn't have to be extremly dangerous to create havoc.

That is extremely poor logic for invading.
